Through her involvement in Art Therapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, she has deepened her understanding of human behaviour and the remarkable capacity of the mind to transform itself. She is, above all, a devoted mother to two beautiful children — living proof that a woman does not have to choose between her dreams and her family.

“Preserving the old while creating the new is not a contradiction. It is the most beautiful kind of courage.”

Architecture and design have never just been professions for Aarti. They have been a calling — a language she has spoken since she was young. Born and raised in India, she built her foundation as a freelance architect and interior designer, pouring her heart into projects ranging from intimate small-scale interiors to full home designs. Her design sensibility spilled beautifully into branding, logos, and consultancy.

“When you are truly passionate about something, it does not feel like work. It feels like purpose.”

Over a decade ago, she made the move to Singapore, carrying with her not just expertise but an unshakeable belief in the power of creative growth. That fire led her to Studio AMRA — a platform built around Art & Craft, and especially Tanjore painting, a traditional and deeply rooted South Indian art form offering handcrafted home decor pieces crafted from wood and brass.

In 2024, she added a chapter that few would have predicted. She took up Silambam, an ancient South Indian martial art rooted in discipline, grace, and strength — and she excelled at it. Representing Singapore on an international stage, Aarti won two gold medals, a stunning achievement that speaks volumes about the kind of woman she is.
